The section’s research is aimed at better understanding the causes and consequences of mental ill-health, and developing and evaluating interventions. There are two synergistic interdisciplinary research groups:
The research groups represent the vertical research structure, with a range of investigative methodologies applied laterally across the themes, including behavioural observation, psychometric testing, human performance measurement, epidemiology, and clinical trials. These are complemented by our laboratory facilities and neuroimaging resources.
